Lover of felines, Jane’s passion for textiles began at an early age. Her grandmother would take her into NYC and teach her about what made an excellent fabric. Costume Design at Colgate University Theatre followed in 1970. In 1993, she began her studies at Philadelphia Guild of Handweavers to learn the fiber arts.Excited about the endless possibilities in fiber, she opened a school in Chadds Ford, PA, to experiment with weaving, spinning and dyeing. In 2001, Jane designed a line of hand printed, naturally dyed women’s clothing targeting the urban professional woman. She is a member of the Atelier Designers Show in New York,One of a Kind Show, Chicago, and Heron Studio Galleries in Aston, PA.
